Kate Sloan – BVetMed (Hons) CertAVP(SAM) MRCVS

Kate studied at the Royal Veterinary College, graduating with distinction in 2008. She then spent the first four years of her career in mixed farm and small animal practice, enjoying the challenges this offered, before settling in a busy, small animal hospital to focus on the area of veterinary work she had become passionate about, small animal medicine.  Kate completed the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, successfully passing the synoptic exam in Small Animal Medicine in 2016 and going on to become an Advanced Practitioner.

Before becoming a founding director of Eden Vets and Eden Veterinary Referrals Kate worked in several Tier 3 Small Animal Hospitals accepting complex internal medicine referral cases.  She enjoys all areas of medicine but is particularly interested in emergency and critical care and relishes the challenge of managing these high pressure cases effectively.

Eve Dearden – BVSc CertAVP(SAM) MRCVS

Having graduated from the University of Liverpool with distinction in 2013 Eve went on to complete her certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice in Small Animal Medicine, successfully sitting the synoptic examination in April 2019 and going on to become an Advanced Practitioner. Eve worked at a number of busy small animal hospitals across Cheshire and the West Midlands before setting up Eden Vets & Eden Veterinary Referrals in the autumn of 2020.

Eve loves all things internal medicine but has a particular interest in the use of diagnostic imaging, especially ultrasonography and endoscopy, as tools to fully investigate even the trickiest of cases.
