All our CPD events can be booked in advance via our website. Each session is limited to a set number of attendees, so if you are interested in any of our CPD events, it is best to book early to avoid disappointment.

We are fortunate to have a fabulous team of Advanced Practitioners at Eden Veterinary Referrals with a wide range of interests, skills and specialist qualifications, which enable us to offer high-quality referral services to every patient. Our experienced team also enjoys delivering CPD to fellow veterinary professionals, helping you to gain new knowledge and skills that can be used every day in general practice.
Our team of Advanced Practitioners include,
- Georgina Timms – Georgina is a highly experienced soft tissue surgeon and holds a certificate in Small Animal Surgery. She loves treating all surgical cases but is particularly interested in Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome and thrives on treating complex abdominal surgery cases. Georgina is also one of the few practitioners in the UK to have completed a course in Canine Diagnostic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, enabling us to offer this impressive service at Eden Veterinary Referrals.
- Kate Sloan – Kate is an Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine, passionate about all aspects of emergency and critical care. She has vast experience dealing with all medical conditions, but she thrives under pressure and enjoys the challenge of treating complex medical cases and stabilising critical patients.
- Eve Dearden – Eve is a highly skilled internal medicine practitioner having successfully completed a certificate in Small Animal Medicine before becoming an Advanced Practitioner in 2019. She has a wide range of experience treating challenging medical cases, but she also has a special interest in diagnostic imaging, especially ultrasonography and endoscopy.
- Laura Atkinson – Laura is an Advanced Practitioner in Feline Medicine and is the lead clinician for our feline medicine service. She is highly experienced in treating all feline medicine cases and she has a special interest in senior patients with comorbidities, endocrinology, gastrointestinal disease, pyrexia of unknown origin, and FIP cases.
- Edward Allsop – Edward is a highly talented surgeon having completed a certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2013. Since then, he has gained vast surgical experience in a wide range of routine and complex surgical procedures. Edward is particularly interested in orthopaedic surgery, but he enjoys treating all routine and complex surgical cases.
